PURPOSE:To provide a charging device which safely guides a molded coal block to the inlet end surface of a coke furnace, and is able to smoothly charge it to each furnace chamber. CONSTITUTION:A truck 10 is a relay truck which loads and conveys a carrier case 5, holding a molded coal block 4, to a furnace chamber 1a of a coke furnace 1. The height of a crosslink body 11 is regulated so that the under surface of a coke furnace chamber is leveled flush with the bottom surface of the molded coal block to act as an intermediary when the molded coal block is charged. Thereafter, when a pinion 29, gearing with a rack 28, is turned by a drive source, the rack 28 pushes forward a forward end metal 27 in the direction of an arrow mark G, and a base plate 12 and the molded coal block 4 are charged in the coke furnace chamber 1a in a manner to support it by means of tollers 46 and 15. After operation to charge the molded coal block 4 in a coke furnace chamber 1a is completed, a support body 43 of a block press device 14 is swung in the direction of an arrow mark E from a waiting condition to bring the block press body 42 into contact with the back surface of the molded coal block 4. Thereafter, the pinion 29 of a block charging device 13 is rotated reversely. In which case, the block press body 42 pushes the molded coal block 4 so that it is prevented from moving, and this causes sliding of the base plate 12 over the bottom surface of the molded coal block 4 to load them on the truck 10. |
