PURPOSE:To reduce adverse effects due to the exhaust interference and improve the workability around an exhaust manifold by biasedly providing multiple downstream opening sections of an exhaust port provided on a cylinder head without arranging them in parallel on a straight line on the flange surface of the cylinder head. CONSTITUTION:Multiple downstream opening sections 33 of an exhaust port 32 are biasedly arranged without being arranged in parallel on a straight line L in the lengthy direction on the flange surface 40 of a cylinder head 22. By constituting downstream opening sections 33-1, 33-2, 33-3, 33-4 of an exhaust port 32 without arranging them in parallel on a straight line, exhaust manifold passages 42 of an exhaust manifold 34 is not crooked unnaturally, individual exhaust manifold passaes 42 are formed nearly in the same length, the discharge efficiency of each cylinder is made nearly equal, thus preventing adverse effects due to the exhaust interference. In addition, a wide space is provided around the exhaust manifold 34, and the workability of the assembly work, etc. can be improved. |
