PURPOSE:To make it possible to automatically separate products from runners by horizontal bars, etc. installed between each of supporting belts at a fixed interval. CONSTITUTION:A mixture of products S and runners R discharged from an injection molding machine is thrown into a hopper frame 10, and runners R and products S are carried forward by horizontal bars 3 of a conveyor 1 on No. 1 bottom plate 6. The space M between horizontal bars 3 is made wider than the diameter of products and shorter than the length of runners. At the forward portion of the conveyor 1, vertical bars 8 are provided, and further ahead of them, No. 2 bottom plate 7 of which bottom plate is slanted is provided. At a separating unit B, products S fall onto No. 2 bottom plate 7, runners R which cannot pass through a sieve composed of horizontal bars 3 and vertical bars 8 are carried to the front end of the conveyor 1 and fall down. By this arrangement, products and runners discharged from a plastic injection molding machine are automatically selected. |
