The rectal probes comprise a probe which is open at one of its ends upon which two small inflatable balloons are placed, one being intrarectal and the other extrarectal. The two small balloons 4 and 6, situated at a short distance from each other on the probe 1, communicate mutually in order to be inflated simultaneously such that the sphincter 8 is placed under a low tension between the two balloons 4 and 6. The invention is used for the manufacture of rectal probes. <IMAGE>
