PURPOSE:In thawing a frozen food by high frequency, to enable almost uniform thawing and cooking, by shielding electrical radiation apt to be concentrated on the side part of the frozen food by a metallic cover, subjecting it to dielectric heating with electrical radiation from an opening at the upper central part and from the lower part of a net to place it. CONSTITUTION:The pan 1 having the plural legs 2 and the drainage hole 3 at the central part is equipped with the net 4 for placing a frozen food, and the metallic cover 6 overspreading the net 6 is provided with the opening 7 at the center of the bottom of a cylinder with a bottom, and a large number of the small holes 8 at the periphery of the opening. The pan 1 and the net 4 consist of a member for transmitting electrical radiation. Namely, when the material 5 to be heated, such as a frozen food, etc. is thawed by high frequency, electrical radiation apt to be concentrated on the side part of the frozen food is shielded by the metallic cover 6, it can be subjected to dielectric heating from electrical radiation from the opening 7 at the upper central part and from the lower part of the net 4, and almost uniform thawing and cooking can be carried out without being influenced by water prepared by thawing. |
