At least one of the card cylinders is associated with a stationary cylindrical part provided with an internal surface facing the sharp-pointed metal components of the cylinder and co-axial with it. This part serves as support for several dressing belts of the card. Each of these has a central zone equipped with teeth and two lateral borders which improve and ensure the conformity of each belt to the cylindrical internal surface of stationary part.
