PURPOSE:To obtain a small engagement device with a large attraction force economically by a method wherein a ferromagnetic plate is fixed to the surface of a permanent magnet which is covered by a nonmagnetic case to which a slit is provided at the position apart from the end part of the permanent magnet and one end of the ferromagnetic plate provided to a bottom of a corresponding engagement part is bent down so that the bent part is inserted into the slit. CONSTITUTION:A ferromagnetic plate 2 is fixed to the surface of a permanent magnet 1 and another ferromagnetic plate 3 is fixed to the back of the magnet 1 and one end of the plate 3 is extended out of the magnet 1 and the plate 3 is supported by a washer 7a. The surface and the side of the magnet 1 is surrounded by a case 4 and the ferromagnetic plate 3 is fixed by a bent nail 4d provided to the end of the case 4. A slit 4b is provided to the case 4 at the position corresponding to the end of the ferromagnetic plate 2 and a space 6 is provided in the case 4 below the slit 4b. The ferromagnetic plate 5, engaged with the composition described above, is also supported by a washer 7a and one end of the plate 5 is bent downward at a right angle and the bent end is immersed into the slit 4b so that a strong attraction force can be obtained. |
