PURPOSE:To reduce the time for assembly by bending a heat transmission pipe in opposite directions at every specified length to form straight parts and bent parts, inserting currugated fins in the straight parts and oscillating the pipe and fins while retracting the same between tapered guide rails thereby making the spacing between the corrugated fins uniform and unitizing the fins to the heat transmission tube. CONSTITUTION:A heat transmission pipe 13 is bent to make the spacing between the adjacent straight parts 13b wider than the height of corrugated fins 21 to make the insertion of the fins 21 easy and sure. Tapered guide rails 15 are used, and the pipe 13 and the fins 21 are slid between the rails to deform exactly the pipe 13 to the prescribed shape and to press the fins 21 to the straight parts 13b of the tube 13. The fins 21 are resonated by an oscillator 17 in this stage to make the pitch of the fins uniform; at the same time, movable guide rails 16 are approached to each other to adhere the fins 21 and the parts 13b tightly to each other. |
