PURPOSE:To aim at simplifying the mechanism of a free flow conveyor and as well at reducing the driving energy of thereof, by setting a common roller chain around conveying paths above and below the conveyor. CONSTITUTION:A drive shaft 38 and a driven shaft 40 which are spaced by a predetermined distance from each other, are rotatably journalled to the upper section of a conveyor frame 36 to the lower section of which driven shafts 46, 48 are rotatably journalled in the positions just below the above-mentioned shafts 38, 40. An endless roller chain 56 is commonly set around sprockets 42, 44, 50, 52 attached to both ends of the shafts, so that a required free flow conveyor is constituted. The drive shaft 38 is rotated by driving a motor 64, through a chain 68, etc. Further, roller chains 76, 78, 86, 84 which may be moved up and down by means of cylinders 80, 82, are arranged at the starting and terminal points of pallet feeding and returning conveyor paths 58, 60 while roller chains 80, 90 for shifting pallets are arranged thereaside. |
