PURPOSE:To allow the titled player to play music up to its final end correctly without lacking a part close to the final end by compensating the playing distance at the playing of an off-center record. CONSTITUTION:The distances l1, l2, l3, l4 from a reference position up to the input of an inter-music pulse to a microcomputer 15 at the stopped state are detected by counting up input pulses from a photointerruptor 13 and stored in a memory of the microcomputer 15. The figure shows the case using an off-center record disc. When only the 2nd music is played for instance, a signal to end the play is ordinally generated when the point 2a of a stylus moves by l2-l1 after the drop of the stylus, but in this case, the stylus point 2a moves by (x) when a turn table 1 is rotated by 360 deg.-alpha after the drop of the stylus point 2a to an inter-music 20'. Thus, the ordinary player plays a music short by (x) at its music width. Therefore, this player is enabled to play a music correctly up to the end of the music by processing through the microcomputer 15 so that the play is ended when the stylus point 2a moves by the distance obtained by adding the distance moved for a fixed time after the drop of the stylus point 2a to the inter-music 20' to the distance l2-l1. |
