PURPOSE:To stabilize an open-freighted heap and as well to prevent a protective coated film from coming off the heap, by piling up a plurality of heap beds in several stratums to build the open-freighted heap in which the higher the stratum, the smaller the heap bed is, and by coating a water-insoluble paint on the inclined surfaces and shoulder parts of each heap bed. CONSTITUTION:In order to cover an open-freighted heap for protecting the same, part of the heap is at first heaped up on the entier area of a floor surface onto which the heap will be built, to form a first heap bed M1. Then, a paint N1 which will be water-insoluble after being dried is coated on the inclined surfaces M1a and shoulder parts M1b of the heap bed M1. Next, a second heap bed M2 which is smaller by one size than the first heap bed M1, is piled up on the latter, and is also coated with the same paint N2 on the inclined surfaces M2a and the shoulder parts M2b thereof, as in the above-mentioned method. Susequently, the same steps are repeated to form the open-freighted heap, and the paint is also coated to the top surface of the uppermost heap bed Mn so that the covering of the heap is completed. Thereby, the open-freighted heap is stabilized and the coming-off of the protective film may be prevented. |
