The invention relates to a diamond-impregnated grinding wheel for cutting and polishing. The grinding wheel includes two concentric circular tracks 37 and 39 which are made from diamond grit such that the particle size of the diamond-impregnated track 39 is less than that of the diamond-impregnated track 37, and a third circular track 44 of centre O' separate from that O of the other two tracks and made from diamond grit whose particle size is less than that of the diamond-impregnated track 39.
