The invention relates to a method of supplying a feeder of an installation for manufacturing packages from corrugated cardboard, and to an installation using this method. According to the invention, in order to produce small packages, a strip of cardboard is produced continuously and this strip is continuously cut into large panels which are compressed and cut a second time in a discontinuous manner when the panels obtained can be transferred to the feeder. In the installation according to the invention, the large panels 4 are routed from the output of the corrugator to a compressor-cutter 2 which produces small panels 12 which are then transferred to the feeder 21 by means of a suction belt 16 supplying an intermediate hopper 18 feeding a supply belt 19. <IMAGE> |
