The invention relates to a breathing valve consisting of a body 1 delimiting internally a free volume 1a fitted with three exit pipes 2, 3, 4 so as to form a pipe tee, via a set 5 of seats and flaps situated inside the said casing 1 making it possible to ensure selectively communication of the foresaid branch pipe 4 with the entry tube 2 and the exhaust tube 3, the flap 5 consisting of a cap 6 made of an elastic material covering one end of the entry tube 2 provided with elastic means 6b, 7, 8 in order to constitute at least one opening. According to the invention the seat of the foresaid flap consists of an end part 4a of the branch pipe 4 inside the casing situated opposite the entry tube 2 and capable of interacting with the foresaid cap 6 in a relaxed position under the effect of its characteristic elasticity and in that the foresaid elastic means 6b, 7, 8 are situated on the wall part of the cap 6 circumscribed by the said seat.
