PURPOSE:To prevent a digging-up phenomenon upon rapid braking, by effecting a reverse phase mode only when a change position is in a first speed or a reverse position. CONSTITUTION:A steering direction of front wheels 1 is inputted as an output 4a from a front wheel steering angle sensor 4 to a controller 10, and whether a phase of rear wheels 2 is to be the same phase or reverse phase relative to the front wheels 1 is determined by the controller 10 in dependent upon a change position detected by a change position sensor 12a and in accordance with a predetermined pattern. As a reverse phase mode is effected only when a change position in a transmission is in a first speed or a reverse position, there is no possibility of a digging-up phenomenon upon braking during a medium and high speed running. Further, as a change position is detected at a desired low speed or reverse position to obtain a reverse phase mode, it is possible to easily park in a column and put a vehicle into a garage. |
