PURPOSE:To simplify the construction of a traveling table drive device, which does not require a construction of a type piled up, by installing two guide rails across each other in such an arrangement that a traveling table moves along one of the guide rails if the other is to make linear motion. CONSTITUTION:A stationary table 22 on a frame 21 has a form of square plate, and its X arm 29 is mounted on the drive shaft 25a of a speed reducer 25 situated above a motor. At the tips of the X arms 29 and 30, an X guide rail 31 is mounted so as to couple them to constitute a parallel link. The Y arm 32 is installed on the drive shaft 26a of another speed reducer 26 situated above a motor at the other edge of the abovementioned stationary table 22, and a Y guide rail 34 is coupled with the Y arms 32 and 33 at their tips. Traveling table 35 is guided along the X guide rail 31 by guide rollers 36-39, and along the Y guide rail 34 by the other rollers 40-43. |
