PURPOSE:To stabilize a relative position relation of a separating roll and a drum and to prevent the transfer failure, and the drum from being flawed, etc. by providing a freely rotatable positioning roll on the same shaft as that of the separating roll. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive drum 1 rotates a shaft 15 through a gear 51 as one body with a gear 52. A separating roll 16 is fixed to the shaft 15, is kept at a gap (d), and a separating belt 42a is also provided. Positioning rolls 53, 54 are provided so as to be freely rotatable on the shaft 15 through bearings 53a, 54a. When a diameter of the rolls 53, 54 and a diameter of the roll 16 are denoted as D1 and D0, respectively, D1=D0+2d is formed. The outside circumference of the rolls 53, 54 always contacts with the drum 1 and keeps a gap (d). The rolls 53, 54 are constituted of ring parts 53b, 54b into which the bearings 53a, 54a are press-fitted and outside circumferential parts 53c, 54c, and the outside circumferential parts 53c, 54c which contact with the drum 1 are made of hard rubber, etc. |
