摘要 PURPOSE:To eliminate a booster circuit and permit to generate an ignition voltage, sudden and long in the duration time, with a simple constitution by a method wherein one set of ignition coil for the induction discharge type ignition device is provided while the coil is provided with a boosting effect. CONSTITUTION:When a contact 19 is closed precedingly to an ignition, a current flowing through a primary coil P1 is increased, a boosting voltage is generated in the coil P2 and a capacitor 21 is charged through a thyristor 20. When the contact 19 is opened upon the optimum ignition timing, a transistor 17 is put OFF, a kick voltage is generated in the primary coil P1 of the ignition coil 15 and the current is reduced suddenly. On the other hand, the capacitor 27 is charged, therefore, a pulse is generated in the secondary coil S of a pulse transformer 26 and the thyristor 25 is put ON, therefore, the charge of the capacitor 21 is discharged through the primary coil P1. According to this method, the induction discharge effect and a capacity discharge effect are effected simultaneously and, further, the booster circuit may be eliminated, therefore, the constitution of the circuit may be simplified.
