PURPOSE:To manufacture a laser tube with shutter function at low cost by a method wherein a shutter made of a magnetic metal is provided on the prolonged line of the central axis of a plasma fine tube so that the shutter may be remote-controlled. CONSTITUTION:When a shutter 14 made of a magnetic metal fixed to a part of cathode 9 moves a permanent magnet 15 provided on the shutter 14 in the arrow direction up to the position 15', the shutter 14 moves in the arrow direction 13 to the position of a shutter 14'. In other words, the permanent magnet 15' attracts the shutter 14' through an enclosure to open a laser beam channel. When the magnet 15' moves in the direction reverse to the arrow 16, the shutter 14' attracted to the magnet 15' moves in the direction reverse to the arrow 13 returning to the position of the shutter 14 to shut off the laser beam channel of the central hole in a plasma fine tube 8. Through these procedures, the laser beam may be shut off. |
