PURPOSE:To improve the reliability, by storing the same data in a data storage device connected to two sets of processors to attain easily the system reconstitution. CONSTITUTION:The information processing system consists of a managing processor 1, processors 21-2n and magnetic disc devices 411, 412...4n1, 4n2 as data storage devices. The processor 1 and the devices 411, 412...4n1, 4n2 are connected by bus cables 511-5n2, and the processor 1 and the processors 21-2n are connected by in-house connectors 31-3n. Further, the processors 21-2n and the devices 411, 412...4n1, 4n2 are connected by bus cables 611-6n2. The processing request information on the processor 1 of the system is transmitted to the processors 21-2n via the devices 31-3n. The same data is stored in the devices 411, 412...4n1, 4n2 connected to the processors 21-2n, to make the reconstitution of the system easy and to improve the reliability of the system. |
