This turnstile is of the type with one or more levels of radial bars 3 carried by a vertical shaft 4, mounted on a free wheel or similar allowing its rotation in only one direction. The outer cage of the free wheel is connected to a ring associated with means of immobilisation in rotation which are normally in action and which are themselves coupled with means of neutralisation the operation of which is controlled by a coded device which only authorised persons hold. <IMAGE>
