PURPOSE:To prevent the lowering of the sealing property of a weather strip by a method in which a gate is set at the cushion lip base corner of the weather strip for fitting a gasket type window glass, and an indent is formed near the residual base portion of the gate. CONSTITUTION:A rubber injection gate 7 is set at the corner C of a cushion lip 6 elastically contacting with a body panel, and the residual portion 7a of the gate is integrally formed on the base of the cushion lip 6. An indent 8 is formed around the residual portion 7a. The gate residual portion 7a can thus be easily cut off, and therefore, even when a leftover 7b of cutting is left behind, if the top of the leftover 7b is within the depth (h) of the indent 8, the leftover 7b is absorbed and no interruption occurs with sealing. The lowering of the sealing property of the weather strip by the gate residual portion 7a can be prevented. |
