The invention relates to a false-ceiling fixing device of the type formed from juxtaposed wire lattice-works pans, each pan comprising a base and borders folded upwards with respect to this base and each border being bordered at its upper portion by a wire. It comprises a bearing plate 6 and a clamping plate 2, the clamping plate being provided on its upper face with at least one pair of converging grooves 11a, 11b which are capable of receiving the two wires forming an upper corner of a pan and locking means 3 being provided for moving the upper face of the clamping plate closer to the lower face of the bearing plate so that the said wires are locked in place in the grooves by the said lower face of the bearing plate. <IMAGE>
