Sheet turner

The sheet turning device comprises a sheet input conveyor, a sheet output conveyor and a sheet pocket. Sheet deflection elements are provided to bend parts of a sheet as it leaves the sheet input conveyor and moves into the pocket. A return assembly which comprises a drive roller inside a vacuum chamber comes into contact with a sheet which is fed into the pocket and moves the sheet in engagement with the sheet output conveyor. A sheet fed into the pocket is given bending resistance by this return assembly, and a second sheet can be fed into the pocket before the previous sheet has been fully removed.
