<p>A programmer for a pacemaker (10) which has telemetric capabilities is disclosed. The programmer, in addition to being able to program the pacemaker through telemetric transmission of programming codes can receive digital and analog (including marker) information from the pacemaker for remote display and utilization, and for program modification in response thereto, if desired. The programmer includes pulse duration measurement circuitry (60, 70, 58, 90, 76, 78, 80, 82) for measuring time duration intervals of incoming RF telemetric signals reveived by lead (14), and a peripheral controller microprocessor determines the codes and transfers them to an EKG recorder via line (140) or to a master processor via lines (126-134). The programmer establishes nominal time interval values and then compares the received intervals with the established nominal values.</p> |
