PURPOSE:To provide an elastic bearing having a lot of elastic rollers piercing a shaft parallel to the axis in such a manner as to freely rotate on its axis and revolve along the race between inner and outer races, wherein if a machine is subjected to thermal expansion and contraction, the bearing is deformed to follow up such expansion and contraction, and if external force like a shock works upon the machine, the bearing absorbs such energy to bring the fucntion into full play. CONSTITUTION:Inner race 3 and outer race 5 are formed by winding a belt-like metal plate having a desired elasticity like a coil in such a manner as to have respective diameters, so that at the time of displacement, contact surfaces slide smoothly. An elastic roller 6 is formed by winding a narrow belt-like metal plate having both circular-arc sides like a coil in such a manner as to bring both sides into contact with each other. One roller shaft 6c is pierced through each ring hole to be fastened and united by both ends of the shaft 6c and fastening means 6d such as a nut or the like. In this case, in order to absorb the force applied to the longitudinal axis of the elastic roller, plate springs 6e, 6e are disposed outside the outermost ring 6a or 6b. Accordingly, for deformation and displacement of a machine, the bearing elastically deforms to follow up such deformation and displacement, and further it can absorb shock energy temporarily. |
