A pencil sharpener (25) is incorporated in a control device (20) which may be pressed into a figure base (1) temporarily to relieve tensioned strings and allow the figure to collapse. When the control device (20) is pressed fully into the base (1), the entrance to the sharpener is aligned with an opening (4) in the base (1) to allow a pencil tip (31) to be inserted into the sharpener. The figure is made up of a number of sections (6,7,8,9,11) mounted relatively to one another at loose joints and which are held erect by spring tensioned strings (12,13) extending from the base (1) and connected to the control device (20). <IMAGE> |
