The removable grill for a gas cooker consists of an outer case that supports a grid to hold the food. Under this there is a grid to hold a layer of refractory material, such as volcanic rock, that cooks the food by radiation and is heated by a gas jet. - The front face of the case supports the food grid which extends over it. The bars of the grid are V-shaped, to hold the liquid produced during cooking. A trough fixed to the front of the case, collects the liquid.
