PURPOSE:To minimize the harmonic component contained in the primary current of a transformer by differentiating short-circuiting reactance for each winding when a plurality of secondary windings of a transformer are simultaneously short-circuited. CONSTITUTION:The secondary winding of a transformer 4 is divided into a plurality of segments S1-S6, and converters C1-C6 which can invert are respectively connected to the secondary winding segments S1-S6. These converters are connected in cascade to produce the rectified output. The difference of the specified value is provided in the short-circuiting reactance regarded from the short-circuited secondary windings when a plurality of the segments S1- S6 of the transformer 4 are simultaneously short-circuited, thereby differentiating the short-circuiting reactance for each winding. |
