PURPOSE:To form a easily most suitable preform extremely approximate to a final shape and to simplify the mechanism of a succeeding forging machin by forming separately shape materials corresponding to a large end, a small end and a rod part and joining these materials by welding. CONSTITUTION:A large end is formed to a C-shape material 5C having a notch 5B on the outside circumference to the weight conforming to the weight distribution of a final product. A small end is formed to a C-shape material or a disc material 6C having a notch 6B on the outside circumference to the weight conforming to the weight distribution of the final product. A rod is formed to a plate material 7C formed with joint parts 7A, 7B to be circumscribed respectively with the notches 5B, 6B of the large and small end at both ends to the weight conforming to the weight distribution of the final product. The notch 5B of the material 5C which is the large end and the notch 6B of the C-shaped material or disc material 6C which is the small end are circumscribed and joined by welding in the parts 7A, 7B of the material 7C. |
