The flexible union piece connects pipes of different diameters together and comprises a set of concentric tubular components of flexible material (4a-f), joined together by annular intermediate walls (5a-f) in a radial plane. These walls can together form an end wall for the union piece, which can be of rubber. They can contain concentric grooves. The outermost tubular component can be longer than those inside it. The design enables a single type of union piece to be stocked suitable for pipes of widely differing diameters.
