<p>The present invention relates to a programmer control device, comprising a rotating cam block able to be driven in rotation step by step by a feed cam actuating an oscillating pawl carrier. The control device comprises means for preventing and authorising the action of the pawl, comprising a prevention lever 50' interacting with means capable of making the said prevention lever tilt, on each to-and-fro movement of the feed pawl, between two angular positions. In the first position, a part 51' of the prevention lever is arranged on the trajectory of a ramp 55 of the pawl 21, in order to prevent the action of the latter. In the second position, the part 51' is not arranged on the trajectory of the pawl 21, in order to authorise the action of the latter. Retaining means such as the jaw 79a of an authorising lever 69a, actuatable, for example, with a time delay, are able to retain the interdiction lever 50' in its second angular position, against the action of the spring 49, in order to authorise the action of the pawl 21 after a certain time delay period.
