PURPOSE:To operate an accurate energy value, by detecting an extreme value of the load value after inputting an inversion signal and by issuing a signal, which switches the operation processing of the load increasing process and that of the load reducing process, to an energy value operating means. CONSTITUTION:In a testing machine 1, a sample piece of materials is mounted between a load cell 2 and a cross head 4 which is driven vertically along feed screws 12, and the cross head 4 is driven vertically repeatedly by an inversion driving means 5. An extreme value detecting device 8 to which a load signal W is inputted through a gate 7 reads a load value Li at every prescribed time by a clock 9 and discriminates the extreme value of the load value Li and issues a signal for switching of the operation processing of the energy value in the load increasing process or the load reducing process to an energy value operator 10 and outputs the load value Li. Thus, since a repeating point is detected accurately and this point is used as a reference point to operate the energy value, an accurate energy value is obtained without the correcting operation. |
