PURPOSE:To make a heater blower modifiable in an easy manner without having the old one scrapped, by miniaturizing a blower for a heater unit for exclusive use, while attaching an auxiliary blower to a cooler unit in time of remodeling a mere heater car into an air conditioned car. CONSTITUTION:To remodel an air conditioner fitted with a ventilation duct 30 alone into that fitted with a complete cooler unit 24, the duct 30 is removed and an auxiliary blower 22 is attached to an air intake 21 of an intake unit 20 instead. On the other hand, one end of the cooler unit 24 is inserted into a suction port 28 of a blower 25 in a heater unit 23, while the other end's inlet is attached to an outlet 29. Next, when a fan switch 200 is set to a high contact 200H, fans 5 and 27 both rotate at high speed, blowing off a great quantity of air. In addition, when it is changed over to a middle terminal 200M, both these fans 5 and 27 rotate at medium speed, blowing off an average quantity of air, and when it is further changed over to a low terminal 200L, a motor M2 alone rotates at high speed, blowing off a small quantity of air. That is to say, necessary for scrapping the old one in order to make the blower 25 into a large-sized one is no longer required. |
