PURPOSE:To inform the optimum absence information, by storing previously plural messages corresponding to the state of absence and answering automatically when a call is given from the circuit side to transmit the indicated absence message. CONSTITUTION:An absence state indicating part 3 contains set buttons showing plural state of absence, and a prescribed one of these buttons can be set. When a circuit corresponding part 1 receives ringing tone, the ON state is checked for the buttons of the part 3, and a circuit is automatically closed when the button of the part 3 is turned on. Then an absence message corresponding to the button indicated by the part 3 is sent from a voice message transmitting part 2 to the circuit side via the circuit correspondence part 1. If the set button is off at the part 3, bell tone is produced from a bell control part 5 in response to a ringing tone. When an operator hooks off the handset after hearing the bell tone, the part 1 closes the circuit and at the same time stops the bell tone. Then the part 1 connects the circuit to a handset part 4. |
