PURPOSE:To enhance adhesion in order to prevent stripping of a coat layer or the like and unevenness of an image or the like, by forming an insulating surface coat layer on a conductive substrate, while a photosensitive layer formed by vapor deposition retains a state of heated temp. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive layer 2 consisting essentially of Se is vapor- deposited on a conductive substrate 1 properly heated, and an insulating film 3, such as polyethylene terephthalate, polycarbonate, or polyvinyl butyral, is stuck while the layer 2 retains a state of 30-60 deg.C due to remaining heat, or when it is cooled, it is reheated to 30-60 deg.C. When the substrate 1 is, for example, a metallic drum made of aluminum, the film 3 is quickly wound around the drum after the vacuum vapor deposition is finished and vacuum is released. When needed, the film 3 is coated with an adhesive in advance. The film 3 adheres well to the whole surface and prevened from stripping or the like, and unevenness of an image or the like is avoided, because the film is applied to a warm substrate. |
