PURPOSE:To reduce energy consumption of a rotor heating device for high speed balancing of a rotor by providing a heating box to house a rotor in a vacuum chamber. CONSTITUTION:A heating box 12 for housing a drum part of a rotor 13 is provided in a vacuum chamber 11. The rotor 13 is connected to a driving device 16 by means of a liaison 15. Further, hot air is supplied from hot air generation devices 17, 18 into the heating box 12. At the time of heating a rotor 13, hot air is supplied while rotating the rotor 13 at low speed and the rotor 13 is heated until it exceeds the transition temperature. Subsequently, the rotor is put in high speed rotation for high speed balancing. Since heating is thus performed while rotating the rotor at low speed, windage loss due to high speed rotation can be reduced. |
