The compass card (11) is divided into four quadrants (23) each of which is further subdivided into equal sectors (21) differently coloured within each quadrant; the colour sequence of the sectors within each quadrant is repeated in each quadrant. The colour sequencing enables an efficient method of navigating a sailing dinghy around an olympic course. |
