PURPOSE:To obtain a simply constituted emergency stop apparatus by holding under pressure a regulator handle urged to the engine stop side onto a holder through frictional members and installing a lock mechanism and a lock releasing mechanism which operates in case of anomaly. CONSTITUTION:The basic edge part 16a of a regulator handle 16 is fitted onto a supporting shaft 12 inserted into a hole on a handle base 11 and held under pressure between a cam 14 and a holder washer 18 through frictional plates 15 and 17 by the springy force of a compression spring 21. A spring 26 is fitted between the handle 16 and a governor lever 34, in order to urge the handle 16 towards the engine stop side. A stop lever 27 having a projection part 27b for engagement with the hook part 32 of the cam 14 locks a holder 22 at engine start position, and when a solenoid 35 is operated in correspondence with engine anomaly, the lever 27 is turned through a wire 26, and lock is released, and then the holder 22 is turned to the engine stop side by the spring 26. |
