In the shower or bathtub partition according to the invention, a running rail is used for the lower guide of the door elements guided in a suspended manner on an overhead rail, which running rail has only a single guide groove for all the displaceable door elements. The door elements are provided with narrow hook-type or yoke-type guide members which engage in the guide groove of the running rail which preferably consists of an approximately C-shaped hollow profile.
