Joint fittings for fire-retardant, wooden trellis structures

In comparison with the known joint fittings for diamond-shaped trellis structures, the joint fittings according to the invention are shaped in such a way that the tilts and angles, necessitated by the system, of the trellis bars with respect to one another are represented by the ends of these bars or by their contact faces. The application according to the invention of the joint fittings improves the trellis structures with regard to the following points: the connection means are not visible; the use of different mineral construction materials on the wooden structural parts is dispensed with; the additional labour for producing the fire-resistant quality is provided during manufacture and not on the building site; a subsequent cladding of the joints with fire-proofing materials after roofing is dispensed with, including any apparatus or framework which is necessary for this purpose.
