PURPOSE:To make it possible to visibly and easily observe the states of respective corrosive reaction products of a specimen and an opposed electrode from the other end side of each hole, by attaching the specimen and the opposed electrode to one end of each piercing hole of an isnulating plate. CONSTITUTION:Holes 2, 2' are pierced through a flat plate made of glass or plastics so as to leave the definite distance therebetween and a groove 3 is provided to communicates the holes 2, 2' through a liquid. A specimen 5 being a painted metal and an opposed metal electrode 6 are attached to the other end sides of the holes 2, 2' so as to hold packings 4, 4' therebetween to be connected by a wire and an electrically closed circuit is formed by the liquid contacted painted surface of the specimen 5, the liquid contacted surface of the opposed electrode 6, the liquid in the groove 3 and the copper wire so as to perform the electrochemical reaction of the specimen 5 and the opposed electrode 6. The corrosive reaction product eluted from the specimen can be held so as to remain and present between the specimen and the opposed electrode. |
