发明名称 CONTINUOUS CASTING METHOD OF STEEL
摘要 PURPOSE:To control the pressing force on a long side to increase or decrease gradually the same and to eliminate the problem of flaw on the long side, etc. in the stage of changing width during casting by determining the adequate frictional force between the short side and the long side with the pressing force between the short side and the long side as a parameter. CONSTITUTION:The width of casting is detected by a position detector 11 mounted to the pressing cylinder 5 on a short side and the pressing force on the short side is detected with a pressing force detector 12 in the stage of changing the width on the short side during continuous casting. A clamping force is detected with a pressing force detetor 14 mounted to a pressing cylinder 13 on a long side. The respective detection signals are inputted to an arithmetic control device 15, by which an adequate friction force is determined and further the clamping force that holds the frictional force is determined. The signal is fed to a pressure regulator 16, which decreases or increases the pressing force by the cylinder 13. The generation of a difference in the frictional force between the long side and the short side is eliminated by the above-mentioned control method, whereby the generation of breakout is obivated.
