PURPOSE:To simplify constitution, by a method wherein, in a titled attachment attached to a drive shaft protruding from transmission case, balls, embedded in the semispherical end of a slanted axle, are axially slidably fitted in axially extending grooves formed in the inner surface of a tubular intermediate shaft to make a coupling therebetween. CONSTITUTION:A tubular intermediate shaft 15, engaging with a drive shaft 7, and a slanted axles 14 are supported to an axle case 11 by means of bearings 17a and 14b, respectively. A spherical end 31 is formed at the end of the slanted axle 14, and is provided at the outer periphery thereof with six semispherical recess parts 32 wherein transmission balls are embedded. Meanwhile, six axially- extending grooves 25 are provided in the inner periphery of a cylindrical part 30 of the intermediate shaft 15, and the tubular part engages outwardly with the balls 24 in the slanted axle 14. This enables a drive force to be transmitted as the balls 24 are relatively moved in the grooves 25. This constitution permits simplification of constitution of an attachment. |
