摘要 |
<p>PURPOSE:To prepare and use an adsorbent excellent in adsorbing capacity at low cost within a desulfurization plant without using activated carbon, by a method wherein carbonaceous substance discharged from an SO2 reducing reactor or a carbonizing furnace is subjected to NH3-treatment and the treated one is used as an SOX adsorbent. CONSTITUTION:A carbonaceous substance adsorbent having SOX in exhaust gas adsorbed therewith in an adsorbing vessel 1 is regenerated under heating in a regenerating vessel 3. The dessociated high concn. SO2 gas is sent to a moving bed type reducing reactor 4 packed with carbonaceous substance such as coal or semi-coke to be reduced therein while sulfur is recovered in a sulfur condenser 6. The carbonaceous substance partially oxidized in the reducing reactor 4 is supplied to a screening machine 9 to separate ash therein and a part of the treated carbonaceous substance is returned to the reducing reactor 4 while the remainder is sent to an activating vessel 10 through the regenerating vessel 3 or directly to be treated by aqueous ammonia or NH3-gas. The adsorbent subjected to NH3-treatment is supplied to the adsorbing vessel 1 after drying or directly.</p> |
