PURPOSE:To decrease the place to be welded and to improve workability and product accuracy by interlocking a carriage which can fix a long-sized blank material with a bender so that the continuous formation of the blank material in a closed shape is made possible. CONSTITUTION:A carriage 7 which is movable and stoppable in the longitudinal direction of machine beds 1, 2, 3 and has a means for fixing a long-sized metallic blank material M is made lockable in >=2 positions. Each stage of locking the carriage 7 is interlocked with the operation for rotating a bender 14 built rotatably in the position corresponding to the carriage 7. The material M is continuously formed to a closed shape having the circular shaped corners corresponding to the number of the positions where the carriage 7 is locked. The material M is thus efficiently bent to a closed shape, whereby the place to be welded is decreased and the workability and product accuracy are improved. |
