NUMERICAL CONTROLLER PROVIDED WITH COLOR DISPLAY DEVICE

PURPOSE:To facilitate easy confirmation of program contents, by sorting the input data into characters and numerals to store them together with proper color information given previously and then reading out those characters and numerals in a prescribed order and in different colors for display. CONSTITUTION:The input data are sorted into characters and numerals by a discriminating means 1 and then written by a data writing means 2 to a prescribed address of a character RAM3 together with the proper color information given previously to those characters and numerals. Then the RAM3 is read out by a data reading means 4 in a prescribed order. The contents read out of the RAM3 are sent to a character generator ROM5 to be converted into pattern data and supplied to a display control circuit 6. At the same time, the color information is supplied to a display control circuit 6 and a color display part 7 is driven. Thus the characters and numerals are displayed in different colors from each other to facilitate the easy confirmation of an NC working program.
