<p>: The present invention relates to an electric regenerator for use with a gas turbine having at least one compressor stage, one combustion stage and at least one turbine stage. Each of the stages is interconnected by ducts which contain and direct compressed gas. The regenerator is comprised of an electric heater located within the ducts. The heater is supplied with electrical power which is generated from exhaust gas exiting the gas turbine. The temperature of the heater is greater than the temperature of the compressed gas flowing in the ducts at the location of the heater.</p> |
