发明名称 METHOD FOR FORMING ARMOR OF SURFACE WAVE DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce the number of process stages by setting up a small piece of shape storing type alloy on a piezo-electric oscillation element fixed on a base plate so as not to contact with said element directly, covering the small piece with a thermally contracting tube and heating the tube to form a prescribed gap on an vibrator and cover the vibrator. CONSTITUTION:A plate-like alloy 7 in which a slightly curved shape is stored at an optional temperature between 80-100 deg.C is set up on the piezo-electric oscillation element 2 so as to be extended slightly longer than the length of the element 2 with an approximate width preventing the influence to a connection part of a wire 5 of the element 2. Since an absorbing material 4 is applied to both ends of the element 2, the alloy 7 is not contacted directly with the element 2. The thermally contracting tube 8 with a diameter proper to cover the whole is applied from a position excluding the connection part between a terminal 6 and the base plate to the upper end of the base plate 1 and heated. The alloy 7 is instantly returned to the stored shape at the storing temperature, and if the temperature is elevated up to the contracting temperature of the tube 8 while leaving the alloy 7 to stand as it is, the tube 8 is contracted and adhered to a surface wave device so as to surround the device. On the other hand, a required gap can be formed by the alloy 7 returned to the stored shape.
