The invention is concerned with a transportable treatment couch which can be infinitely adjusted in terms of height and can be pivoted about the vertical axis (41). With its top part (1) comprising three parts which are articulated to one another (seat part 3, back part 4, foot part 5), the treatment couch is accommodated in a suitcase-like transport container (18); its essential components which are hinged on the top part (1) of the couch so as to be pivotable, foldable and/or displaceable remain connected to one another in the transportable state. The lifting device (2) fixed to the seat part (3) of the top part (1) of the couch is firmly connected to the bottom (17) of the transport container (18). The bottom (17) forms the basic support plate for the couch in use. The treatment couch is easy to transport, quick to assemble and disassemble and stands reliably during use.
